Job summary

Karius is seeking a Clinical Sales Manager for the Birmingham area to drive regional hospital and health system partnerships. You will lead clinical and executive engagements, promote the Karius test, and expand adoption across Alabama Gulf Coast hospitals.

In this remote field-based role, you will build a robust territory, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage renewals while delivering measurable ROI for partners and Karius. Travel up to 70% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of sales/business development in Life Sciences/Healthcare.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Robust network with hospitals, labs, and executives.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Experience with multi-level account management.
• Strong strategic planning and ROI mindset.
• Comfortable presenting to C-level and clinical leaders.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales revenue and test volume in territory by acquiring new hospital business.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Success, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to hit goals.
• Develop thought leaders and early adopters for new diagnostic approach.
• Build and manage regional hospital & health system accounts.
• Present features/benefits to stakeholders using consultative selling; manage evaluations.
• Partner with Clinical/Medical Affairs to support partner interactions, remote and in-person.
• Manage renewals of partner agreements and contract negotiations.
