Job summary

Karius is seeking a Clinical Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts across defined regional territories in the US, including Oklahoma and Arkansas, targeting infectious disease physicians, lab directors and hospital leaders.

In this role, you will collaborate with Inside Sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing and Product teams to develop strategy, accelerate adoption of the Karius test, build a regional pipeline, and drive renewals with health systems.

Qualifications

• 5 years of sales/business development experience in Life Sciences / Biotech, Medical Device, Diagnostic Equipment, and/or Pharmaceutical industries.
• Proven success in introducing transformational products or services to clinicians and hospitals prior to peer-reviewed publications or guidelines.
• Robust network of relationships with hospitals, health systems, C-level executives, and clinical leaders.
• Strong vision and planning capabilities to grow the territory.
• Ability to develop relationships from C-level executives to physicians and lab directors with credibility.
• Demonstrated track record of top sales achievement and multi-level account management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Success, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to achieve territory goals.
• Develop thought leaders and early adopters for new infectious disease diagnostics.
• Build and manage a regional hospital & health system account portfolio.
• Present product features to stakeholders using consultative sales techniques and close deals.
• Drive renewals and manage partner agreements with health systems.
• Partner with Clinical/Medical Affairs to support remote and in-person engagements.
