Job summary

Crisis Connections in Washington state is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to oversee the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline Chat & Text program. This fully remote, exempt role manages a multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate crisis support to chat and text clients.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a related field, WA licensure eligibility, and 4–5+ years of leadership in behavioral health. Strong crisis intervention and digital communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Independent or associate behavioral health licensure with WA credential eligibility.
• Meet Washington State Mental Health Professional requirements.
• 4–5+ years leadership in behavioral health crisis work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a multidisciplinary 988 Chat & Text team.
• Oversee clinical quality, daily operations, staffing, performance, and service delivery.
• Provide clinical supervision, case consultation, and staff feedback.
• Monitor program metrics and ensure compliance with 988, contractual, accreditation, and organizational standards.
• Support implementation of new services, technology, training, and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with Crisis Connections leaders and external partners.
• Remain connected to frontline chat and text services and lead by example.
