Job summary

Crisis Connections is seeking an 988 Clinical Supervisor to lead and support frontline crisis responders who provide life-saving support. This is a licensed or license-eligible role requiring strong leadership, mentorship, and service orientation to improve crisis care across Washington State.

The position calls for hands-on leadership, deep clinical expertise, and a commitment to equity and belonging within a mission-driven team. Fully remote with state residency requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Licensed or license-eligible in Washington State standards.
• AAC credential required by end of probation; Crisis Connections will reimburse credential.
• Experience supporting individuals in crisis.
• Strong communication, documentation, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support crisis line staff and volunteers.
• Provide clinical guidance and mentorship during real-time crisis situations.
• Support daily operations in a 24/7 crisis contact center.
• Train staff on best practices, policies, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Monitor call and performance trends to ensure quality and consistency.
• Partner with internal leaders and external behavioral health providers.
• Serve as a trusted clinical resource for staff at all experience levels.
