Herzing University in the United States seeks a MS-CMHC Clinical Director to oversee practicum and internship fieldwork, ensuring CACREP alignment and licensing requirements. You will collaborate with program leadership and faculty on curriculum, assessment, and accreditation activities.

The role develops fieldwork partnerships, supports students and site supervisors, evaluates placements, and manages student progress throughout clinical fieldwork. Remote work may be considered within the U.S.

Qualifications

• PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in higher education.
• Experience with CACREP accreditation.
• Experience in clinical supervision.
• Licensed Professional Counselor or equivalent licensure by applicant's state.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to initial CACREP accreditation process for fieldwork.
• Develop curriculum and assessment plan with MS-CMHC Program Chair and faculty.
• Develop partnerships with agencies for fieldwork placements.
• Maintain fieldwork agreements between Herzing University and sites.
• Complete components of accreditation candidacy related to fieldwork.
• Collaborate on program policies and share with students via Fieldwork Manual.
• Maintain curricular documents (catalog, manual, handbook, website, brochures).
• Provide training and ongoing communication to students, practicum/instructor teams, and site supervisors.
• Evaluate student fieldwork site placements for alignment with requirements.
• Oversee student progress and academic processes for fieldwork.
• Act as a liaison with state licensing boards.
• Serve on school/college/university committees.
• All other duties as assigned.
