Job summary

Herzing University is seeking the MS-CMHC Clinical Director to oversee practicum and internship fieldwork, ensuring CACREP alignment and licensure requirements. The role collaborates with program leadership to shape curriculum, assessments, and accreditation activities, while developing fieldwork partnerships and site agreements.

The position includes support for students and faculty, evaluation of placements, and oversight of student progress.

Qualifications

• PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in higher education.
• Experience with CACREP accreditation.
• Experience in clinical supervision.
• Licensed Professional Counselor (or equivalent licensure) in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the initial CACREP accreditation process for the MS-CMHC program.
• Develop the program curriculum and assessment plan with program leadership.
• Establish and maintain fieldwork partnerships with local and regional agencies.
• Maintain fieldwork agreements between Herzing University and sites.
• Prepare components of the accreditation candidacy application related to fieldwork.
• Collaborate on policy development and provide fieldwork manuals to students.
• Maintain curricular documents (catalog, manual, handbook, website).
• Provide training and communication to students, instructors, and site supervisors.
