Job summary

Herzing University is seeking a MS-CMHC Clinical Director to oversee the practicum and internship fieldwork component of the MS-CMHC program, ensuring alignment with CACREP standards and licensing requirements. The role collaborates with program leadership and faculty to develop curriculum, assess fieldwork, and maintain partnerships with fieldwork sites.

The position involves supporting students, faculty, and site supervisors, evaluating placements, and coordinating accreditation activities.

Qualifications

• PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision.
• 5 years of experience in higher education.
• Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (or other independent state licensure).
• Experience with CACREP accreditation.
• Experience in clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the initial accreditation process with CACREP and assess fieldwork for CACREP compliance.
• Develop the program curriculum and assessment plan with program leadership and faculty.
• Develop and maintain fieldwork partnerships and fieldwork site agreements.
• Oversee student progress and manage academic processes of fieldwork components.
• Act as a liaison with state licensing boards.
• Serve on school, college, and university-wide committees.
• All other duties as assigned.
