Herzing University invites applications for the MS-CMHC Clinical Director, overseeing the practicum and internship fieldwork of the MS-CMHC program to ensure CACREP alignment. You will collaborate with the Program Chair and faculty to shape curriculum, assessments, and fieldwork partnerships.

The role includes managing fieldwork agreements, coordinating sites, and guiding student progress while liaising with state licensing boards and committees across the university.

Qualifications

• PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision required.
• 5 years of experience in higher education.
• Experience with CACREP accreditation.
• Experience in clinical supervision.
• Licensed Professional Counselor or equivalent licensure in applicant's state.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the initial accreditation process with CACREP, including development and continuous review and assessment of the fieldwork component of the MS-CMHC program to ensure compliance with CACREP.
• Develop the program curriculum and assessment plan in collaboration with MS-CMHC Program Chair and faculty.
• Develop partnerships with local and regional agencies to identify appropriate fieldwork site placements for students.
• Develop and maintain fieldwork agreements between Herzing University and fieldwork sites.
• Complete components of the accreditation candidacy application related to fieldwork.
• Collaborate with the MS-CMHC Program Chair on the development of program policies and make available to students through a current MS-CMHC Fieldwork Manual.
• Maintain curricular documents related to MS-CMHC program (catalog, manual, handbook, website, brochures).
• Provide training, orientation, and ongoing communication to students, practicum and internship instructors, and site supervisors to support a high-quality fieldwork experience.
• Evaluate student fieldwork site placements to ensure alignment with program and accreditation requirements.
• Oversee student progress and manage academic processes of students engaged in the fieldwork component of the MS-CMHC program.
• Act as a liaison with the state licensing boards.
• Other responsibilities include serving on school, college, and university-wide committees.
• All other duties as assigned.
