Job summary

Herzing University seeks a MS-CMHC Clinical Director to lead the fieldwork component of the MS-CMHC program, ensuring CACREP alignment and adherence to licensing rules. You will partner with program leadership to shape curriculum, assessment, and accreditation efforts, and cultivate fieldwork partnerships with regional sites.

The role includes supervising fieldwork processes, supporting faculty and students, and maintaining program documentation in a dynamic academic environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in higher education.
• Experience with CACREP accreditation standards.
• Experience in clinical supervision and licensure as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, coordination, and continuous improvement of practicum/internship fieldwork.
• Collaborate on curriculum, assessment, policies, and accreditation activities with leadership and faculty.
• Develop fieldwork partnerships and agreements with sites; ensure quality placements.
• Provide training and oversight to students, practicum/internship instructors, and site supervisors.
• Maintain fieldwork manuals, catalogs, and curricular documents; liaise with state licensing boards.
