Job summary

Vail Health Hospital in Wisconsin is seeking a Clinic Scheduler to manage patient appointments and scheduling workflows. You will handle incoming calls, coordinate with providers, locations, payers, and ensure accurate patient demographics in the EHR system.

Responsibilities include scheduling tests and procedures, distributing faxes, and maintaining HIPAA and OSHA compliance. Prior administrative or medical office experience is preferred, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years administration or similar experience preferred.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules medical appointments through coordination of patients, providers, locations, payers, etc.
• Obtains patient demographics with accuracy to include but not limited to patient address information, telephone number and insurance information.
• Distributes faxes helps manage needed requests.
