Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years administration or similar experience preferred.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and field scheduling questions.
• Direct calls to the appropriate parties and take messages.
• Schedule appointments leveraging the EHR scheduling software.
• Obtain patient demographics including address, phone, and insurance information.
• Distribute faxes and manage required requests.
• Coordinate schedules for patients, providers, locations, and payers.
