Vail Health Hospital is seeking a Clinic Scheduler to manage appointment scheduling, patient inquiries, and provider coordination. The role involves handling calls, routing messages, and ensuring accurate patient demographics in the EHR system.

Preferred candidates have 2 years of administrative or related experience, prior medical office exposure, and knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA guidelines. Local travel not required for remote opportunities when applicable.

Qualifications

• 2 years administration or similar experience preferred.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and field scheduling questions.
• Direct calls to appropriate parties and distribute messages.
• Schedule appointments and tests using the electronic scheduling system.
• Collect patient demographics and insurance information with accuracy.
