Vail Health is seeking a Clinic Scheduler to manage incoming calls, schedule patient appointments, and coordinate with providers using the EHR system. The role requires collecting accurate patient demographics and insurance details while routing messages to the correct departments.

Qualifications

• 2 years administration or similar experience preferred.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Answer incoming phone calls and field scheduling questions from providers.
• Direct calls to appropriate parties and take/distribute messages.
• Schedule medical appointments, tests and procedures leveraging the EHR scheduling software.
• Obtain patient demographics (address, phone, insurance) with accuracy.
• Process faxes and support scheduling workflows.
