Vail Health Hospital is seeking a Clinic Scheduler to manage patient scheduling, phone inquiries, and message routing. You will coordinate appointments across multiple providers and locations, ensuring accuracy in patient demographics and insurance details.

Experience with EHR scheduling systems is preferred to streamline workflow. The role supports efficient patient flow and accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced medical office environment, with emphasis on HIPAA compliance and professional

Qualifications

• 2 years administration or similar experience preferred.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Answer incoming phone calls and field scheduling questions.
• Direct calls to appropriate parties and take/distribute messages.
• Schedule medical appointments and coordinate patients, providers, and locations.
• Schedule tests and procedures using the EHR scheduling software.
• Obtain patient demographics and insurance information accurately.
• Assist with faxes and other administrative tasks.
