Job summary

Vail Health seeks a Clinic Scheduler to support scheduling and front-desk operations. You will answer calls, coordinate appointments, confirm patient demographics, and manage messages within the EHR system. The role emphasizes accurate data collection and smooth patient flow.

Two years of administrative or related experience is preferred, with background in medical offices and HIPAA knowledge considered assets. Roles may be based outside Colorado with some remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• 2 years administration or similar experience preferred.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and field scheduling questions with providers.
• Direct calls to appropriate parties and take/distribute messages.
• Schedule appointments leveraging the EHR system and coordinate patients, providers, locations, and payers.
• Obtain patient demographics accurately including address, phone and insurance information.
• Distribute faxes and manage related requests.
