Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Client Manager to oversee a diverse book of business, coordinate marketing, prepare proposals, and bind coverage. You will act as the primary client contact, ensuring timely service and strong carrier relationships to drive satisfaction and growth.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in customer service or commercial lines, familiar with underwriting guidelines, and hold or pursue relevant designations. Hybrid work and generous benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in customer service, underwriting, or commercial lines insurance preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance markets, binding authority, and underwriting guidelines preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee servicing of a diverse book of business with accuracy and proper handling of policies and endorsements.
• Coordinate submission information for marketing, including applications and schedules.
• Prepare and present comprehensive insurance proposals and bind coverage per guidelines.
• Support marketing and placement of new and renewal business and compile pre-renewal information.
• Serve as primary point of contact for identified clients and respond promptly to requests.
• Build and maintain strategic client-carrier relationships to enhance loyalty.
• Assess clients’ business risk programs and provide coverage recommendations.
• Provide risk management advice during renewal reviews and endorsements.
• Collaborate with Producers and cross-functional teams to align on client activities.
