Job summary

Voya Financial is seeking a Visionary Product Delivery Director for Employee Benefits who will shape roadmaps, translate business priorities into delivery plans, and lead reporting and metrics initiatives. This fully remote role partners with Underwriting, Pricing and Actuarial to align reporting with business outcomes and ensure successful adoption.

You will own business requirements, collaborate across IT and operations, and guide teams through agile delivery, change readiness, and post-launch

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
5+ years of product delivery, product management, business analysis, or digital product leadership experience.
Hands-on FINEOS experience required.
Experience with digital portal capabilities, customer-facing applications, self-service platforms, reporting capabilities, or analytics solutions.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into a full suite of operational reports and dashboards.
Translate claims metrics into operational outcomes and partner with Underwriting, Pricing, and Actuarial teams on reporting needs.
Experience operating in Agile and Scrum delivery environments as a business partner or product owner.
Strong SDLC, release management, and testing methodologies knowledge.
Experience leading operational readiness, change adoption, training coordination, and post-launch stabilization.
Experience within Employee Benefits, Disability, Absence, Leave Management, Life, and/or Supplemental Health.

Responsibilities

Shape the strategic roadmap for Employee Benefits technology capabilities and business solutions.
Partner with senior business leaders to identify opportunities that improve customer, employer, and operational experiences.
Establish business outcomes, success measures, KPIs, and adoption targets for technology and operational initiatives.
Act as the business product owner for claims metrics and reporting, defining strategy, roadmap, and backlog for the function as a service across reporting views.
Translate business needs into requirements and acceptance criteria for a full suite of reports, dashboards, and metrics.
Translate claims metrics into actionable operational outcomes in collaboration with Underwriting, Pricing, and Actuarial teams.
Lead prioritization of enhancements, defects, and new capabilities based on business value and compliance needs.
Provide business direction to reflect regulatory requirements and customer experience needs in delivery plans.
Lead operational readiness planning, including training, communication, and adoption risk management.
Partner with IT Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, development teams, and operations to refine requirements and delivery priorities.
Represent business in sprint planning, release planning, and backlog management activities.
Monitor delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans for successful implementation.
Oversee testing strategies and UAT for new capabilities and defects.
Lead UAT planning, coordination, execution oversight, and final business sign-off.
Support release readiness reviews and production deployment activities.
Monitor post-production outcomes and coordinate issue resolution and feedback.
Drive post-implementation adoption activities and hypercare support.
Present roadmap priorities and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
Build and sustain partnerships to enable execution of strategic initiatives.
