Job summary

Reserv is seeking a Claims Manager to lead multiple adjuster teams across lines of business. You will drive efficiencies through technology and analytics, while maintaining regulatory and contractual SLAs. Strong leadership, deep claims expertise, and a focus on client satisfaction are essential.

In this remote-first role, you will mentor teams, manage performance, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve escalated claims and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in insurance, business, or related field; CPCU or AIC certifications are a plus.
• 10+ years in insurance claims management across multiple lines, auto with BI preferred.
• 5+ years of management experience; remote environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple teams of adjusters across lines of business.
• Achieve or exceed goals; overcome obstacles.
• Implement and maintain best practices for claims handling (intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, recovery).
• Monitor claims data to identify trends and drive process improvements.
• Align team with client and customer expectations of the claims process.
• Serve as a resource for escalated claims.
• Responsible for accuracy and adequacy of claim reserving.
• Develop strategies to mitigate fraudulent claims and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Foster a positive work environment and professional growth.
• Execute on performance management; hire, train, retain and develop staff.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Account Management, Compliance, Claim Operations).
• Establish and maintain relationships with policyholders, agents, brokers, and legal representatives.
• Prepare and present claims reports, metrics, and loss-trend analyses to clients.
