Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• 3+ years selling products of a technical nature.
• Knowledge of Microscopy / Imaging / Application.
• Relationship building with channel partners; interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of commercial/government/university/industry sectors.

Responsibilities

• Increase Sales through Large Channel Partners: Collaborate with channel partners to co-prospect new customers, recommend Leica microscopy products, and implement growth strategies.
• Product and Application Expertise: Act as the go-to expert on Leica’s routine microscopy solutions, helping partners understand and promote the full product portfolio.
• Upskill and Support Partners: Ensure partner representatives are trained and knowledgeable about Leica products, identifying cross-selling opportunities across product lines.
• Field Sales and Customer Engagement: Engage in direct field sales activities, following up on leads, attending trade shows, and maintaining relationships with contacts across government, academic, pharmaceutical, and industrial accounts.
• CRM and Internal Collaboration: Keep Salesforce CRM up to date and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Relationship Development and Management: Own and manage large channel partner relationships and execute go-to-market strategy.
