Job summary

Leica Microsystems is seeking a Channel Sales Specialist to drive growth with large channel partners in the US. The role combines technical microscopy knowledge with strategic partner management and field sales activity.

You will train and support partners, maintain strong relationships, and collaborate across Sales, Product, and Customer Service to meet targets and deliver solutions for government, academic, pharmaceutical, and industrial customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry or a related field.
• 3+ years successful selling products of a technical nature.
• Demonstrated core understanding of Microscopy / Imaging / Application.
• Relationship building with channel partners; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the commercial/government/university/industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Increase Sales through Large Channel Partners: collaborate with partners to prospect new customers and drive growth within the territory.
• Product and Application Expertise: act as the go-to expert on Leica’s microscopy solutions and portfolio.
• Upskill and Support Partners: train channel reps and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Field Sales and Customer Engagement: engage in direct sales, attend trade shows, and manage government/academic accounts.
• CRM and Internal Collaboration: keep Salesforce up to date and coordinate with internal teams.
• Relationship Development and Management: own large channel partner relationships and execute GTM strategy.
