Job summary

Leica Microsystems in the United States seeks a Channel Sales Specialist to grow sales through large channel partners in Life Science and Applied markets, promoting Leica’s microscopy and imaging solutions while building strong partner relationships.

You will travel up to 50% within the US, conduct field sales, attend tabletop shows, and collaborate with internal teams to meet targets. A Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry and 3+ years of technical sales are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry (or related field).
• 3+ years successful selling complex technical products.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microscopy / Imaging / Applications.
• Strong relationship-building with channel partners; excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the Commercial, Government, University or Industry sectors.

Responsibilities

• Increase Sales through Large Channel Partners: Collaborate with channel partners to co-prospect new customers and drive growth.
• Product and Application Expertise: Be the go-to expert on Leica’s routine microscopy solutions for partners and customers.
• Upskill and Support Partners: Train channel reps on Leica products and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Field Sales and Customer Engagement: Conduct direct sales, attend trade shows, and manage relationships across accounts.
• CRM and Internal Collaboration: Keep Salesforce up to date and work with Sales, Product, Customer Service, and Engineering teams.
• Relationship Development and Management: Manage large channel partner relationships and execute go-to-market strategy.
