Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Channel Sales Engineer to cover key regional and national partners in the Southeast US. You will be accountable for regional revenue goals by driving technical programs and overseeing day-to-day account activities.

As a technical evangelist, you will position Rubrik's hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform for mid-market and small business customers, collaborating with partners and internal teams to win deals.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sales engineering experience in software or data center environments.
• Driven – high energy with a can-do, hands-on approach.
• Broad technical knowledge in cyber security, cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
• Entrepreneurial – willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic.
• Able to handle multiple calls/demos per day with prompt follow-up.
• Experience working with Cx0 level personnel to bring technology solutions to business challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership to partners and internal staff for pre-sales activities in the assigned market.
• Assists in the analysis, design and development of integrated technology solutions.
• Acts as a technical expert and consultant during presentations and demonstrations.
• Serves as a trusted technology advisor to partners and internal teams.
• Builds relationships with account teams, partners and customers to support sales objectives.
• Leads technical sales calls.
• Qualifies sales opportunities based on customer requirements, competition, decision making, and funding.
