Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Channel Sales Engineer to cover key regional and national partners in the Southeast US. You will drive technical programs, evangelize and architect the hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform for mid-market and small business customers in your region.

You will provide leadership in pre-sales activities, support design and development of integrated solutions, and act as a trusted advisor to partners.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sales engineering experience preferably in software or data center environments.
• Broad technical knowledge in cyber security, cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
• Strong business acumen and experience working with CxO level personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership to partners and internal staff in pre-sales activities.
• Assists in design and development of integrated technology solutions.
• Acts as technical expert and consultant in partner engagements, including presentations and demonstrations.
• Serves as trusted technology advisor and internal resource on technical issues.
• Builds relationships with account teams, partners and customers to support sales objectives.
• Leads technical sales calls and qualifies opportunities based on customer requirements and funding.
