Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Channel Sales Engineer to cover key regional and national partners in the Southeast US. You will drive revenue by leading technical programs, evangelizing Rubrik’s data protection and AI-accelerated platform, and supporting pre-sales activities across mid-market and small business customers.

The role requires 3–5 years in sales engineering, broad cybersecurity and data management expertise, and strong communication with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sales engineering experience preferably in a software or data center environment.
• Driven – highly energetic with a can-do approach.
• Broad technical knowledge in cyber security, cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery and data analytics.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
• Fast-paced environment with multiple calls/demos per day and proactive follow-up.
• Experience working with CxO level personnel to solve business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to partners and internal staff for pre-sales activities in the assigned market.
• Assist in analysis, design and development of integrated technology solutions.
• Act as technical expert and consultant in technical sales presentations and demonstrations.
• Serve as trusted technology advisor to partners and internal stakeholders on technical issues.
• Build strong relationships with account teams, partners and customers to support sales objectives.
