Job summary

Rubrik is hiring a Channel Sales Engineer to cover regional and national partners in the Southeast US, driving technical programs and overseeing account-level activities. You will evangelize and architect Rubrik’s hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform for mid-market and small business customers in your region.

You will lead technical sales calls, qualify opportunities, and serve as a trusted advisor with a strong cyber security and data management background.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales engineering experience in software or data center environments.
• Strong drive for success with energetic, hands-on approach.
• Broad technical knowledge in cyber security, cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with work ethic and problem-solving attitude.
• Comfortable in fast-paced settings with multiple calls/demos daily and quick follow-up.
• Able to interact with CxO level personnel and bring tech solutions to business challenges.
• Smart, adaptable, and open-minded.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to partners and staff for pre-sales activities in the market.
• Assist in analysis, design, and development of integrated technology solutions.
• Serve as technical expert for partner engagements including technical sales demos.
• Act as trusted advisor to partners and internal resources on technical issues.
• Build relationships with account teams and partners to support sales objectives.
• Lead technical sales calls and qualify opportunities based on requirements, competition, and funding.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
