MarketStar is seeking a Business Development Manager to provide on-site, dedicated support to sales reps with a direct marketing reseller. Location: Remote – Chicago, IL area.

You will drive product awareness, qualify leads, and set appointments while maintaining strong relationships with resellers and internal teams. The role requires channel sales experience, strong communication, time management, and the ability to translate value propositions into compelling messaging to customers.

Qualifikationen

• Previous channel sales experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree, or business-related work experience.
• Experience conducting small group presentations or training.
• Solid understanding of distribution and the ability to learn quickly.
• Time management and organization skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Drive product awareness to reseller account managers and increase quotes, logos, and pipeline.
• Translate the value proposition into written and oral customer communications.
• Engage customers, qualify opportunities, and set sales appointments.
• Align with Inside sales to drive demand and nurture leads.
• Develop outbound lead cadences and coordinate outreach activities.
• Partner with Manufactures to drive demand and set appointments.
• Build and maintain relationships with client contacts across sales teams.
• Educate resellers and respond to pre-sales product questions.
• Schedule meetings with resellers and maintain appointment calendar.
• Provide frontline sales support and assist in closing deals.
• Generate and maintain pipeline; follow up on quotes and opportunities.
