Job summary

MarketStar, a global provider of outsourced B2B demand, sales, and revenue operations solutions, is seeking a Business Development Manager to support a reseller program in the Chicago area. This remote role focuses on driving product awareness, lead generation, and pipeline development with Inside sales alignment.

You will work with account managers, develop training content, and help qualify opportunities, with a compensation structure that may include a $110,000 annual bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or business-related work experience preferred.
• Experience conducting small group presentations or training.
• Time management and strong organizational skills.
• Structured learning and career development programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site, dedicated support to sales reps with a direct marketing reseller.
• Drive product awareness to reseller account managers and increase quotes and logos.
• Align with Inside sales teams to drive demand, qualify leads and set appointments.
• Develop outbound lead development cadence and coordinated outreach activities.
• Respond to pre-sales product questions and provide frontline sales support.
• Generate and maintain revenue pipeline; assist account managers in closing deals.
• Follow up on quotes with pricing and joint business planning.
• Educate representatives on products, programs, promotions, and value proposition.
