Job summary

MarketStar seeks a Business Development Manager to provide on-site, dedicated support to sales reps with a direct marketing reseller, helping the team achieve revenue and market share goals. You will translate the value proposition into compelling communications and drive outbound lead development in a Chicago-area remote setting.

The role collaborates with Inside sales and manufacturers to qualify leads, set appointments, and close opportunities, while supporting pricing and joint business

Qualifications

• Experience in channel sales or partner ecosystems.
• Experience conducting small group presentations or trainings.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to engage customers and articulate value propositions.

Responsibilities

• Understand client value proposition and translate it to written and oral communications.
• Engage customers to generate interest and qualify opportunities.
• Collaborate with Inside sales to drive demand and set appointments.
• Maintain an outbound lead development cadence and coordinate outreach activities.
• Support manufacturers with lead qualification and joint sales planning.
• Respond to pre-sales product questions and assist account managers.
