Job summary

MarketStar is seeking a Business Development Manager to provide on-site, dedicated support to sales reps with a direct marketing reseller, help the team achieve revenue and market share goals, and track and close opportunities.

Location: Remote - Chicago, IL area. You will drive demand, generate quotes, and coordinate with Inside sales, manufacturers, and account managers to expand the pipeline and win new logos.

Qualifications

• Experience in channel sales preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organization abilities.
• Ability to translate value propositions for customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive product awareness to reseller account managers and increase quotes and logos.
• Align with Inside sales to drive demand, qualify new leads and set sales appointments.
• Establish outbound lead development cadence with coordinated outreach activities.
• Respond to pre-sales product questions and provide frontline sales support.
• Generate and maintain opportunity/revenue pipeline and assist in closing deals.
• Follow up on quotes and opportunities with pricing and joint business planning.
• Develop and organize training content to educate representatives on products.
• Previous channel sales experience is preferred.
