Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Category Manager, Logistics Services to lead sourcing and supplier management for transportation, fleet, and courier services. This virtual role can be located anywhere in the United States.

You will develop category strategies, negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and drive cost, service, and risk improvements in a large, mission-driven organization. Bachelor's degree in Supply Management and 7+ years of related experience are required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Management or related field; master's preferred.
• 7+ years of related experience; large org spend management preferred.
• Professional certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategies for transportation, fleet, and courier services.
• Lead sourcing initiatives from strategy to contracting and implementation.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers.
• Analyze spend and drive cost, service, and risk improvements.
• Manage supplier performance with defined KPIs and governance.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Risk, and analytics teams as needed.
• Maintain documentation and provide timely category reporting.
• Collaborate with internal clients and cross-functional teams.
