Job summary

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Professional certification (e.g. C.P.M., CPSM, CIRM, CPIM, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute category strategies for assigned logistics services based on business requirements, spend and demand analysis, market intelligence, supplier capabilities, risk, and total cost considerations.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives from strategy development through market assessment, competitive solicitation, supplier evaluation and selection, contracting, and implementation.
• Develop strategies and lead negotiations for contracts and pricing, securing favorable terms and conditions while managing risk and ensuring compliance.
• Analyze procurement spend and identify, implement, and track opportunities to improve total cost, service, efficiency, financial performance, risk, and supply continuity without compromising quality or business requirements.
• Analyze spend, cost drivers, market conditions, supplier capabilities, operational requirements, and other relevant information; evaluate alternatives and support decision making.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers and establish appropriate performance expectations; monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with internal clients and cross-functional stakeholders to develop strategies and ensure successful implementation of sourcing initiatives.
• Maintain category, sourcing, supplier, and project documentation and provide timely reporting on strategies and KPIs.
