Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is hiring a Casualty Evaluator to join our remote-friendly claims team. The role focuses on owning simple to moderate auto liability cases and related injury exposures, with authority up to $50,000, across multiple states while staying compliant with company policies.

You will work in a virtual environment with flexible remote options, handling written, phone, and email communications and supporting small claims and catastrophe-related duties when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of claims experience or related professional work.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Work in a virtual environment with potential office option.
• Manage communications by writing, phone, and email.
• Own injury exposure cases up to $50,000.
• Handle largely simple to moderate auto liability claims with unrepresented or represented claimants.
• Support small claims and catastrophe-related activities as needed.
• Investigate, negotiate, and settle claims within authority.
• Occasionally represent insureds or company at settlements or arbitrations.
