Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years related work experience.
• 2 years of claims experience and 2 years in related professional roles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Proficient English communication; team-oriented.
• Basic math and computer skills; 30 wpm typing.
• Willingness to complete training and understand regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with AAA claims policies preferred.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Own cases with injury exposure identified; handle 1st and 3rd party auto liability claims.
• Investigate, negotiate, and settle claims up to $50,000 exposure.
• Handle small claims and assist in catastrophes as needed.
• Communicate in writing, by phone and email; manage queues in claims system.
• Support subrogation evaluation and settlement decisions.
• May represent insureds at depositions, arbitrations, or trials on rare occasions.
