Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is hiring a Casualty Evaluator for a remote role spanning multiple states, with exposure handling up to $50,000. You will own claims, investigate, negotiate settlements, and provide coverage guidance in a fast-paced, virtual environment.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience in casualty claims, and the ability to work independently while supporting team objectives. Occasionally travel and flexible hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of directly relevant work experience.
• 2 years of related professional experience.
• 2 years of claims experience.
• Proficient oral and written communication and good English.
• Ability to travel on rare occasions and work extended hours/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Own adjuster when injury exposure identified; handle 1st and 3rd party auto liability claims with exposure under $50,000.
• Triage and manage communications in writing, by phone, and email in a virtual environment.
• Investigate, negotiate, and settle claims; may represent insured or company at settlement conferences, arbitrations or trials.
• Make coverage determinations and advise on proper actions regarding coverage issues.
• Conduct investigative work including interviewing witnesses and analyzing medical records.
