Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is hiring a Casualty Evaluator for a remote role with Home Teleworker options. You will serve as Owning Adjuster for injury exposure, handling 1st and 3rd party auto liability cases up to $50,000 across multiple states including OK, while supporting small claims and low-complexity catastrophes.

You will investigate, negotiate and settle within authority, using strong analytical and communication skills to deliver fair outcomes for insureds and the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or combination of education and 2+ directly relevant work experience.
• 2 years of related professional experience.
• 2 years of claims experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong ability to work independently.
• Strong decision making ability.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Basic math and computer skills and ability to type 30 wpm.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills and good command of the English language.
• Ability to travel on rare occasions.
• Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assigned as owning adjuster when injury exposure is identified.
• Handles both represented and unrepresented first and third-party cases up to $50,000.
• Handles claims in multiple states including OK; license in OK preferred.
• Supports the claims organization by handling Small Claims related matters to conclusion.
• May own low complexity claims during catastrophes; may handle first-party Medical Payment and PIP.
• Communicates with customers in writing, by phone and electronically.
• Investigates and negotiates to settlement within authority.
• Researches subrogation potential and initiates notice.
• Determines coverage and educates customers on actions.
