Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA insurer, is hiring a Casualty Evaluator in a remote-friendly role open to candidates nationwide (excluding HI/AK). You will act as owning adjuster for injury exposure, handling 1st and 3rd party auto liability and small claims with exposure up to $50,000 across multiple states, including licensed and statutory states.

The role emphasizes investigation, negotiation, and settlement, with occasional appearances at settlement conferences, arbitrations, or trials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• 2 years of related professional experience in casualty/claims.
• 2 years of claims experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Work in a virtual environment with optional office setting.
• Manage communications by written, telephone, and email.
• Own claims with exposure under $50,000 and handle 1st/3rd party cases.
• Handle simple to moderate auto liability cases involving injury.
• Investigate, negotiate and settle injury claims with exposure up to $50k.
• Occasionally represent insureds at settlements, arbitrations, or trials.
