CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Casualty Evaluator for a remote role available nationwide with some state exclusions. You will own low-to-moderate exposure auto liability and homeowner claims, leveraging strong analytical and communication skills to drive settlements.

The role emphasizes independent work, teamwork, and efficient claim triage, with potential travel for meetings and occasional in-person events. A background in claims and a relevant degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or a combination of education and 2+ directly relevant work experience.
• 2 years of related professional experience.
• 2 years of claims experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong ability to work independently.
• Strong decision making ability.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Basic math and computer skills and ability to type 30 wpm.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills and good command of the English language.

Responsabilités

• Own and adjust first and third party auto liability claims with exposure under $50,000.
• Handle Homeowner liability low complexity property damage claims.
• Support Small Claims to conclusion.
• Triage and manage claim queues to maintain productivity.
• Make coverage determinations and advise customers on actions.
• Conduct investigative work (interviews, evidence, medical records).
• Represent insured/company at settlements/arbitrations when needed.
• Assess subrogation potential and initiate notices.
