This fully remote role focuses on sourcing capacity for dry bulk, liquid bulk and other specialist freight, negotiating rates and ensuring profitable, compliant transport.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or specialist logistics operations.
• Experience sourcing or managing capacity across bulk transportation modes.
• Strong understanding of US bulk transportation market.
• Established relationships with bulk carriers or specialist providers.
• Knowledge of different bulk equipment types and their applications.
• Experience negotiating carrier rates and managing profitability.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems and carrier sourcing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and maintain relationships with carriers in the bulk market.
• Source and secure capacity for dry bulk, liquid bulk, tanker and other specialist freight movements.
• Negotiate rates while maintaining healthy gross margins.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure shipments are booked and executed.
• Monitor carrier performance and pricing.
• Develop repeat carrier relationships to improve network reliability.
