Job summary

Atlas Global Talent is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support growth across the United States in a fully remote, customer-facing role. You will manage existing shipper relationships, develop new business opportunities and ensure reliable transportation services from a specialist bulk carrier network.

You will collaborate with carrier sales, operations and pricing teams to deliver profitable outcomes, expand accounts and drive shipments while maintaining strong customer relationships

Qualifications

• Commercial account development experience in transportation or freight brokerage.
• Proven ability to manage and grow shipper relationships.
• Strong understanding of the US domestic transportation market.
• Experience with freight pricing, gross profit and account profitability.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable working remotely and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an assigned portfolio of shipper customers.
• Act as primary commercial contact for customer relationships.
• Build long-term partnerships with transportation, logistics, procurement and supply chain decision-makers.
• Understand customer freight requirements, volumes and service expectations.
• Identify opportunities to increase shipment volumes and expand existing accounts.
• Develop account growth strategies based on customer requirements and opportunities.
• Conduct regular customer meetings, reviews and performance discussions.
• Collaborate with carrier sales and operations to ensure reliable freight execution.
• Prepare and negotiate pricing and commercial agreements.
• Monitor revenue, margins and overall profitability.
