Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Care Center Representative to respond to alerts and provide comfort and support to individuals and families nationwide. The role is fully remote with 1st shift, including one required weekend day, and starts at $15 per hour.

You will answer calls, provide compassionate service, log details in real time, and maintain data accuracy. Ideal candidates have 0–1 year in customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Calm and empathetic in high-pressure situations.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Typing speed of 35 WPM.
• Familiarity with CRM software (preferred).
• Ability to toggle between multiple screens and systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, determine priorities, and dispatch responses.
• Provide compassionate customer support using scripted and non-scripted responses.
• Monitor a high volume of medical alerts and alarms, offering genuine care.
• Record call details, dispatches, and messages into a database in real time.
• Communicate with empathy, respect, and patience.
• Verify and update customer information to ensure accurate records.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for maintenance.
• Proactively inquire about and recommend preventative healthcare services.
• Manage access to sensitive materials and maintain confidentiality.
• Talk and type simultaneously while navigating multiple screens.
• Complete new hire training and pass compliance testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
