Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Care Center Representative to respond to alerts and provide comfort and support to members across the country. This fully remote role requires strong customer service skills, empathy, and the ability to work with multiple screens and systems.

Start date is November 30th, 2026, with 1st shift and weekend requirements. Compensation starts at $15/hour, with benefits and a comprehensive environment for growth in a healthcare-focused service setting.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center or healthcare settings.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Typing speed 35 WPM is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls following protocols to determine priorities.
• Provide compassionate customer support using scripted and non-scripted responses.
• Monitor a high volume of medical alerts and alarms, offering genuine care during stressful moments.
• Record call details, dispatches, and messages into a database in real time with accuracy.
• Communicate with empathy, respect, and patience to ensure a positive member experience.
• Verify and update customer information in the system to ensure records are accurate.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues to ensure timely maintenance.
• Proactively inquire about and recommend preventative healthcare services to members.
• Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive materials.
• Navigate multiple screens and systems efficiently while talking and typing.
• Complete new hire training and pass all required compliance testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
