Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Care Center Representative for a fully remote role. The position starts November 30, 2026, with 3rd shift hours and a starting pay of $16 per hour. You will handle calls, monitor medical alerts, and provide empathetic customer support across states where you are eligible to work.

The ideal candidate has 0–1 year of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask across screens while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or call center.
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours as needed.
• Remote role with reliable internet and ability to work from home.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls following protocols.
• Provide compassionate customer support using scripted and non-scripted responses.
• Monitor high volume medical alerts and alarms and respond accordingly.
• Record call details and dispatches in real-time with accuracy.
• Communicate with empathy to ensure a positive member experience.
• Verify and update customer information in the system.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for timely maintenance.
• Promote preventative healthcare services to members.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials.
• Navigate multiple screens and systems efficiently.
