Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Care Center Representative for a fully remote, 3rd-shift role with a starting wage of $16 per hour. You will respond to alerts, provide compassionate support, and dispatch responses while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy across multiple systems.

Ideal candidates have 0–1 year of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Weekend availability, overtime, and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of customer service experience (preferably in a contact center or healthcare settings)
• Excellent listening and communication skills, with empathy in high-pressure situations
• Able to multitask and navigate multiple screens while typing
• Strong teamwork and independent work ethic

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls; determine priorities and dispatch responses accordingly
• Provide compassionate customer support using scripted and non-scripted responses
• Monitor high volume medical alerts and alarms; offer genuine care
• Record call details, dispatches, and messages in real-time with accuracy
• Communicate with empathy to ensure a positive member experience
• Verify and update customer information to keep records accurate
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for timely maintenance
• Promote preventative healthcare services to members
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials
• Complete new hire training and compliance testing
• Perform other duties as assigned
