Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Care Center Representative to respond to alerts and provide comfort and peace of mind to individuals nationwide in a fully remote role. Start date and shifts vary, with compensation starting at $15/hr.

You will handle calls, document interactions, verify data, and maintain confidentiality while using multiple systems. Requires a HS diploma or GED and 0–1 year in a service setting; weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 0–1 year in customer service, preferably in a contact center or healthcare settings.
• Schedules: Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and flexible hours as needed.
• Remote capability requirements: Minimum internet speeds of 50Mbps download and 25Mbps upload required.

Responsibilities

• Answer emergency and non-emergency calls; follow protocols to dispatch responses.
• Provide compassionate support using scripted and non-scripted responses.
• Monitor high volume medical alerts; offer genuine care in stressful moments.
• Record call details and messages in real-time databases.
• Communicate with empathy to ensure a positive member experience.
• Verify and update customer information for accuracy.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues.
• Inquire about and recommend preventative healthcare services.
• Manage access to sensitive materials and maintain confidentiality.
• Talk and type while navigating multiple screens.
• Complete new hire training and compliance testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
