Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Care Center Representative to respond to alerts, provide compassionate support, and manage communications for members nationwide. This is a fully remote position with a starting wage of $15 per hour and shifts including one weekend day.

The ideal candidate has 0–1 year in customer service, high-speed internet, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in data handling.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or contact center environments preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically under pressure.
• Proficient typing and computer skills required (35 WPM+).

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, determining priorities and dispatching responses.
• Provide compassionate customer support using scripted and non-scripted responses.
• Monitor a high volume of medical alerts and alarms, offering genuine care during stressful situations.
• Record call details, dispatches, and messages into a database in real-time with accuracy.
• Communicate with empathy, respect, and patience to ensure a positive member experience.
• Verify and update customer information to ensure records are accurate.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for timely maintenance.
• Proactively inquire about and recommend preventative healthcare services.
• Manage access to sensitive materials and maintain confidentiality.
• Talk and type simultaneously while navigating multiple systems.
• Complete new hire training and pass compliance testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
