Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Care Center Representative for a fully remote role. The position begins November 30, 2026, with 3rd shift required on weekends and starting pay of $16 per hour.

You will handle emergency and non-emergency calls, document interactions, and provide empathetic, high-quality support to members nationwide. The ideal candidate has 0–1 year of customer service experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center or healthcare setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work weekends, overtime, and flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, follow protocols to determine priorities and dispatch responses.
• Provide compassionate customer support using scripted and non-scripted responses.
• Monitor a high volume of medical alerts and alarms, offering genuine care during stressful situations.
• Record call details, dispatches, and messages into a database in real time with accuracy.
• Communicate with empathy, respect, and patience to ensure a positive member experience.
• Verify and update customer information in the system to keep records accurate.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for timely maintenance.
• Proactively inquire about and recommend preventative healthcare services to members.
• Manage access to highly sensitive materials and maintain confidentiality.
• Talk and type simultaneously while navigating multiple screens and systems.
• Complete new hire training and pass all compliance testing.
