Independence Health System seeks a Care Center Agent to serve as the first contact for patients seeking information, support, and scheduling. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and accurate data collection, including demographic and insurance details.

Training is in-person with a fully remote option after onboarding. The position is non-exempt and requires a High School Diploma (Medical Terminology preferred) and basic computer skills.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Typing speed of 35 wpm is required.
• Preferred Medical Terminology background.

Responsabilidades

• Schedules appointments for patients by phone using scheduling protocols.
• Maintains scheduling system for accurate records and master schedule.
• Obtains referrals, authorizations, and demographic information; verifies insurance.
