Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Care Center Representative to support members nationwide in a fully remote, customer-focused environment. The role involves handling emergency and non-emergency alerts, with a starting pay of $16 per hour and 3rd shift hours including one weekend day.

You will use scripts and CRM tools to log calls, verify information, and coordinate responses, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering compassionate care. Training and compliance testing are required before you begin.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center or healthcare settings.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and empathetic in high-pressure situations.
• Proficient typing (35 WPM) and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and determine priorities per protocol.
• Provide compassionate customer support using scripted and non-scripted responses.
• Monitor high volume medical alerts and alarms with empathy.
• Record call details and messages in real-time in the database.
• Verify and update customer information for accuracy.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for maintenance.
• Talk and type simultaneously while navigating multiple systems.
• Complete new hire training and compliance testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
