Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Care Center Representative for a fully remote position. You will handle inbound emergency and non-emergency calls, provide compassionate support, and document interactions in real-time while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires a high school diploma, 0–1 year of customer service experience, and the ability to work weekends. Training and compliance testing are part of the onboarding process. Strong written and oral communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center or healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office applications.
• Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and flexible hours as needed.
• Ability to remain calm and empathetic in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls following protocols to determine priorities and dispatch responses.
• Provide compassionate customer support using scripted and non-scripted responses.
• Monitor a high volume of medical alerts and alarms, offering genuine care during potentially stressful situations.
• Record call details, dispatches, and messages into a database in real-time with accuracy.
• Communicate with empathy, respect, and patience to ensure a positive member experience.
• Verify and update customer information to ensure records are accurate.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for timely maintenance.
• Proactively inquire about and recommend preventative healthcare services to members.
• Manage access to sensitive materials and maintain confidentiality.
• Talk and type simultaneously while navigating multiple screens.
• Complete new hire training and compliance testing.
