Job summary

Merck is seeking a Cardiovascular Disease Specialist to drive patient impact by applying scientific expertise and serving as the primary contact for customers within the assigned territory. The role collaborates with Account Executives and IDS leaders to deliver patient-focused solutions across physicians’ offices, clinics, and hospitals.

You will develop and execute a territory-level business plan, maintain product knowledge, and conduct compliant sales discussions with healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or high school diploma with extensive healthcare sales experience.
• Proven track record in sales and relationship building with healthcare professionals.
• Ability to analyze data and develop strategic sales plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory-level business plan in alignment with company policies and ethics.
• Maintain current product knowledge and certifications for the portfolio.
• Conduct compliant product sales discussions with healthcare providers to align customer needs with products.
• Provide management with updates on customer needs and market dynamics.
• Be knowledgeable on approved company products, disease, and marketplace.
